Doctor in social and historical anthropology from EHESS in Paris, his thesis Du rite au rire. Le discours des mascarades souletines, published by L´Harmattan, was directed by Daniel Fabre. He has worked in several research laboratories in Paris (EHESS), Geneva (LDES Laboratoire de Didactique et d´Epistémologie des Sciences), the University of the Basque Country in San Sebastian (Faculty of Social Anthropology) and the University of Pau and the Pays de l´Adour (UPPA).
