Juan Kruz Igerabide Sarasola (Aduna, March 24, 1956) is a writer from Gipuzkoa who has published many works aimed at children and young people, although his literary career began with adult literature. He has received important awards, including the Euskadi Prize for Children´s and Young People´s Literature in 1999, the National Critics Prize twice in 1994 and 2003, and the National Prize for Children´s and Young People´s Literature in 2018.
